Commissions

I gratefully review private and commercial commission requests on a case by case basis.

Commissions I Accept

  • Custom portraits

  • Packaging and label illustration

  • Covers and interiors illustration

Commissions I Do Not Accept

  • Artwork in a style other than my own

  • Graphic design, including packaging/label layouts, logos, and typography

Private Commissions

Private commissions start at $200 and require a 50% non-refundable deposit before the artwork is begun. There are additional fees for:

  • Large and complex artwork

  • Changes to the design once the final artwork is begun

  • Licensing and other commercial uses

  • Short deadlines

  • Rushed shipping

How to Request a Commission

To request a commission, please email me at e.l.roberts.artist@gmail.com or message me from the Contact tab. Please include:

  • Your name and email address

  • A description of what you’d like to have drawn or painted

  • Your deadline, or let me know if you don’t have one

  • The size of the artwork needed, or your best estimate

  • Whether you will reproduce the artwork or use it in any way for profit

Cancellations

I gladly accept order cancellations for products purchased in my online store, given that they have not already been shipped.

Refund & Return Policy

Returns - Original Artwork

Although I cannot guarantee refunds for original artwork, I handle all concerns on a case-by-case basis. If something is damaged or not what you’d hoped, please email me at e.l.roberts.artist@gmail.com or message me from the Contact tab.

Returns - Other Goods

All other undamaged goods, including stationery, prints, and accessories, can be returned and refunded for the full purchase price.
